🚨 WizeCare announces a first-of-its-kind program with Soroka Medical Center, Physical Therapy Services, to provide digital hashtag#physical therapy for acute hospitalized patients! 📢 This will be an expansion of the current use of Soroka with Wizecare's platform that is today being delivered to outpatients.

Limitation of human resources makes it challenging to follow up and continuously support hospitalized patients, often bed-ridden, to continue hashtag#rehabilitation between individual PT sessions. WizeCare's digital rehabilitation platform aims to address this gap by helping inpatient wards speed up patient recovery and reduce hospitalization time and costs.

Via our interactive patient application, patients will perform prescribed video sessions tailored to their unique needs. Performed with or without a PT present, the remote bedside care will easily be managed using a central management portal. This will provide clinicians with unique data regarding patient progress alongside enabling automated reminders and direct remote communication with the patient for improved engagement and care.

Avi Barach, Head of Physical Therapy Services at Soroka Medical Center: "I believe that this novice program will aid our clinicians in handling the expected growth in demand for physical therapy services and the limited supply of human resources; this is one of the biggest challenges in Israeli health care system. Soroka and its innovation center team are constantly seeking to improve patients' care with innovative technologies, and we are proud to collaborate with WizeCare.

This program is supported via a grant awarded by the division of Digital Health, Israel Ministry of Health."
